My alter ego... or something!
I am married to a musician, and have often thought how fun it would be to be on stage, playing music. Well, about a year ago I took up the Zydeco Rubboard. Zydeco music is so fun! Last night The Bayou Boys, one of the bands my hubby plays with played at the Sonoma County Fair. A nice little fair. For the last few months, if I tag along for a gig, I get to get up and play with them. Here we are last night. So fun. Yup that is me sitting and scratchin, second from right! Just love to watch the kids dance. There were lots more as the evening went on. Be well! Tj.

Creating art!
I attended a mini high school reunion. 6 of us girls, some who I hadn't seen in way too many years. My dear friend Carolee hosted at her house and asked me if I would teach a little art class. Hum... I had never done any art instruction before, but yea what the heck, I'll give it a try! So I prepared by doing one little painting that I thought would be kind of easy to walk someone through. Now understand, some of these ladies had not done any kind of painting since maybe grade school... or maybe finger painting with grandkids. At first they were pretty reluctant, didn't think they could do it. But they did, and pretty darn good too if you ask me!
What a fun day!! Love you ladies! Be well... Tj.

The Virtual Paintout Challenge
I completed this piece as part of an artist challenge, The Virtual Paintout. Monthly a city or village is chosen from somewhere in the world. Artists google map virtually walk the city and choose a scene to paint. Strolling about looking for that perfect place to put to canvas is really fun! This month we were in Jerusalem.

First piece from Rose Brush Studio!
I completed this piece as part of an artist challenge, The Virtual Paintout. Every month a different city or village is chosen from somewhere in the world. Artists google map virtually walk the city and choose a scene to paint. I find it very interesting strolling about looking for that perfect place to put to canvas! This month we were in St Petersburg Russia. I found this apartment complex that was full of life!
